You'll gain insight into how mindfulness can help you connect with your inner wisdom, recognize patterns of self-sabotage, and cultivate self-compassion. Absolutely. The Body Soul School approach is trauma-informed in the sense that all human beings have negative experiences that impact their worldview and often lead to unconscious uncoping. Whether you've experienced Big-T or little-t traumas, the principles of mindfulness, self-compassion, and body awareness are beneficial for everyone. This series is about cultivating inner peace, outer alignment, and well-being for anyone seeking positive change.
A mindfulness-based approach focuses on present moment awareness without judgment. A trauma-informed approach recognizes the impact of past experiences and creates a safe and supportive space for healing. It emphasizes self-regulation and respecting individual boundaries.
